After collaborating with Al Morrow and Jerry Rothwell of MetFilm Production for a number of years, Vesna joined them in 2017 and set up MetFilm Sales. Prior to MetFilm, Vesna headed Dogwoof’s international sales arm since its inception in 2011, and was in charge of acquisitions, worldwide TV, and SVOD sales, representing such films as BLACKFISH, WEINER, CARTEL LAND, LIFE ANIMATED, and MetFilm’s SOUR GRAPES and HOW TO CHANGE THE WORLD.
Since joining MetFilm, Vesna has built a strong sales slate, which includes Sundance 2020 award-winner THE REASON I JUMP, Sundance and Berlinale 2019 entry SHOOTING THE MAFIA, and the Emmy-nominated THE OSLO DIARIES. She has executive produced MetFilm’s LAST BREATH, Dan Vernon’s THE CHANGIN’ TIMES OF IKE WHITE, Teresa Griffiths’ CAPTURING LEE MILLER, Shosh Shlam & Hilla Medalia’s LEFTOVER WOMEN, Giedre Zickyte’s THE JUMP, and the Sundance 2021 Competition entry MISHA AND THE WOLVES.
